The Neuroradiology fellowship is a one-year
ACGME accredited position with an option for a second year, which
is not accredited. The position begins in July and ends in June,
coinciding with the academic year. The second year is for those
interested in an Academic career or additional training in interventional
neuroradiology or with research interests.
Applicants are asked to submit up-to-date curriculum
vitae and 3 letters of recommendation. The information is then evaluated
by all the members of the section of Neuroradiology and at one of
the weekly section meetings it is decided which applicants to invite
for an interview. At the time of the interview, the applicants meet
with the director of the program, the chairman of the department,
all members of the section that are available on that day and the
fellows. Once all interviews are completed, again at one of the
weekly meetings of the section, a rank list is compiled, which is
then submitted to the National Resident Matching Program.
