Application Information

ERAS web site logoWe accept applications only through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). Paper applications will not be reviewed.

We conduct interviews from November through the end of December. For the 2009 match our deadline for receiving applications is October 17, 2007. It is strongly encouraged to open an ERAS account as soon as possible and complete your application by mid-October.

On the interview day, applicants will have the opportunity to talk with current residents over a continental breakfast, interview with four faculty members, tour the institution, and enjoy lunch with a few of the residents at a local restaurant.

Minimum Requirements for Application

  1. Applications are accepted only through ERAS (paper applications will not be reviewed)
  2. Application deadline: October 17, 2007
  3. Applicants must have passed USMLE Step 1. Successful applicants have scores of 215 or higher
  4. Three letters of recommendation as well as the Dean’s letter are required
  5. Less than 3 years since medical school graduation
  6. Mandatory clinical internship in either internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery or its subspecialties, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, family practice, emergency medicine, or an ACGME or equivalent accredited transitional year.
  7. IMG Additional Requirements: J-1 Visa ECFMG Certified
