Edinburgh University Hits Fundraising Target
November 16, 2012 - (Civil Society Fundraising) - "The University of Edinburgh has reached its fundraising target of £350m, including a donation of £10m from the writer J K Rowling. The campaign was launched six years ago to provide funding for research, maintain the university’s buildings and provide financial support to students. Over the course of the campaign the university received a total of 23,322 donations from a range of sources, including former students, funding councils, major trusts and foundations, corporate partners, government and research charities."
