The Ohio State University Heart and Vascular Center is excited to host Dr. Michael Lauer, Chief of the Cardiovascular Branch of NIH’s National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. The Cardiovascular Research Roadmap will host like-minded cardiovascular investigators from across the region to meet and catch up with one another while having a light meal. Dr. Lauer's lecture, "Biomedical Research: How Do We Know We Are On Track?” will follow and the session concludes with a panel discussion designed to engage leading cardiovascular scientists like in a discussion regarding various approaches to overcome challenges to performing relevant, high-quality cardiovascular research.
