The National Institutes of Health has opened the 2013 application cycle for its Loan Repayment Program. This program repays up to $35,000 of the student loans of researchers conducting or who will conduct biomedical or behavioral research. Five opportunity areas are available: Clinical Research, Pediatric Research, Health Disparities Research, Contraception & Infertilit0y Research, and Clinical Research for Individuals from Disadvantaged Backgrounds.
Applicants apply directly to the NIH. Unlike with other NIH funding, the OSU Office of Sponsored Programs is not the organizational official. Please contact your department for assistance and the required documentation from the chair.
