Center for Child Injury Prevention Studies releases 2013-2014 RFPs

The Center for Child Injury Prevention Studies (CChIPS), an Industry-University Cooperative Research Center catalyzed by the National Science Foundation, has released requests for proposals for the 2013-2014 year. Faculty and students from OSU, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and the University of Pennsylvania are invited to submit letters of intent, which CChIPS' Industrial Advisory Board will use to determine which LOIs who will be invited to submit a full proposal.  Investigator-initiated ideas must be relevant to the CChIPS mission, which was established to advance the safety of children, youth, and young adults by conducting scientific research on the prevalence and predictors of injury, and evaluation, development, testing, and dissemination of commercial technology and public education programs for prevention of injuries.

Suggested project ideas, although note that proposals are not limited to these topics.
Letters of intent must be emailed to Angela Manning by Friday, October 12, at 5pm.  All OSU letters of intent will be bundled and submitted to the sponsor, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Contact Angela Manning, (614) 366-7767, with questions.
