Postdoc Funding at Ohio State
Pelotonia is a grassroots bike tour with one goal: to end cancer. 100% of the funds raised by this groundbreaking event go to innovative and life saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
The Pelotonia Fellowship Program provides two-year research fellowships for up to 12 of the brightest and most promising postdoctoral candidates who want to help cure cancer. Cancer is a complex disease and curing it will take a multidisciplinary effort. So, no matter what the field of study, from the traditional science fields to fields such as history, business and computer science, any postdoctoral candidate may apply.
These fellowships will pay a competitive annual stipend based on NIH guidelines for postdoctoral fellows.
The Ohio State Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) KL2 Program supports the career development of investigators who have made a commitment to conduct either patient-oriented or translational research.
The CTSI supports seven scholars in clinical and translational science. Support is available for up to two years.
Preference will be given to junior faculty members with fewer than three years since their appointment, but advanced postdoctoral trainees, research scientists, and clinical fellows with a research track record are eligible to apply.
