We are pleased to announce the OSU Medical Center 7th Annual OSUMC Research Day to be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2008. This event is open to research trainees whose advisor is a paid percent FTE on the faculty of the College of Medicine (COM) and who fall within one of the following categories: Graduate Students; MD-PhD (Medical Scientist) Students; Medical Students; students enrolled in the Undergraduate Biomedical Science Program; Postdoctoral Researchers and Fellows; and Clinical Residents and Fellows.

Research Day is jointly organized by individuals representing several groups in the College of Medicine, including the Integrated Biomedical Science Student Organization, Bennett Society, Landacre Society, Medical Scientist Program Student Organization, and Postdoctoral Researchers and Fellows.

Researchers and clinicians in training at the OSU Medical Center are invited to participate in this exciting, one-day event. The 2008 Battelle Lecture Series is pleased to present Peter J. Tontonoz, MD, PhD, Professor, Howard Hughes Medical institute, UCLA as the guest speaker, with selected presentations by fellow research trainees as an added attraction.

The deadline for submission of research abstracts is February 1, 2008.
