Housing

Your best option for finding a place to live is to use the entering class facebook page.  Incoming and current medical students access this site to find room mates, listings of rental and sale homes as well as feedback on apartment complexes.

There are plenty of affordable housing options for you choose.  Before you get started, ask yourself these questions:

  • how close to the medical center do you want to be - within walking or biking distance?
  • do you want a room mate or do you prefer to live alone?
  • do you want to rent or purchase a home or condo?
  • what is your budget?

The medical students have put together a listing of the various places where they live along with helpful comments.  This listing starts on page 33 of the Med 1 Survival Guide.
