Upon acceptance, you will be required to undergo a background check through the AAMC-facilitated background check service as well as the College of Medicine self-disclosure and criminal background check and drug testing.
You will be required to submit the Ohio State College of Medicine self-disclosure form prior to orientation and undergo a drug screen upon arrival in preparation for your educational and clinical experiences. These will facilitate your ability to interact with patients as well as meet the requirements of affiliated healthcare institutions while you are in medical school.
Your ability to matriculate is dependent upon meeting these and all other entrance requirements.
