Questions about a variety of things come up once you are accepted and you start to plan ahead. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, we think it captures many topics that may be helpful to you.
Items that may be found on, and taken care of, from your Status Page include:
- Accept (or decline) our offer of admission. You may hold as many acceptances as you like until May 15. On May 15, choose Ohio State and withdraw from all other schools.

OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST:
Financial Aid - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 15. Complete all sections to be considered for need-based aid. Financial aid packages are sent in late April.
Visit the College of Medicine Financial Services Office to review the cost of attendance and budget as well as learn more about the services provided.
Health Insurance - Medical students are required to have continuous insurance coverage. The University provides comprehensive health insurance at a reduced cost. Learn more through the Student Health Insurance Program.
Residency - It is possible for out-of-state students to gain Ohio residency for tuition purposes. Requirements are outlined by the University Registrar's Office and includes a residency calculator and live chats.
Scholarships - A number of scholarship options are available. All accepted applicants are considered for Admissions scholarships with awards beginning in December and continuing through May. Other scholarships available are listed on the College of Medicine Financial Services web site.
Transcripts - are to be sent once you have completed all course work or have graduated and received your degree. Final transcripts must contain grades from all courses including the degree you received and the date the degree was confirmed. All transcripts are to be sent prior to orientation directly from your school registrar(s) to: Professional Admissions, The Ohio State University, 1800 Cannon Drive, Columbus, OH 43210.
NOTE: If you attended The Ohio State University, you do not need to send your OSU transcripts - these will be received automatically.
