Medical Admissions Pathway (BS/MD)
The Medical Admissions Pathway (MAP) provides conditional acceptance into the College of Medicine after four years of undergraduate study for students accepted into Honors who have checked the "pre-med" box on their freshman application entering The Ohio State University in Autumn Quarter.
In addition to the academic benefits associated with University Honors affiliation, students will receive unique opportunities to meet and talk with distinguished College of Medicine faculty members and students in clinical, research and graduate education.

While grades and breadth and difficulty of course work are important, an equally important consideration is how the MAP student balances outside activities and responsibilities with school work as an indicator of ability to deal with the rigors of medical school. Commitment to community service, clinical exposure, ethical behavior, compassion, leadership ability, research and communication skills are important characteristics and experiences that speak to motivation for attending medical school and understanding the medical profession.

Questions regarding OSU Honors affiliation, scholarships or issues concerning eligibility should be directed to Anne Krabacher, University Honors and Scholars Center at (614) 292-3951 or at mailto:krabacher.4@osu.edu
A complete application must be received in the College of Medicine Admissions Office by 4:00 p.m. EST, March 1, to be eligible for interview consideration. Review the "MAP Application" link to learn what materials constitute a complete application.
