The Office of Student Financial Services keeps a list of several scholarships that are offered by agencies that are external to the College and the University. These scholarships are offered by local communities, foundations, organizations, individuals, companies, and others. By completing the College of Medicine Scholarship application each year, you will be notified to apply to those external scholarships in which you meet the requested criteria.
Incoming students will be given access to complete this scholarship application on their Admission Status page sometime in early May as part of their orientation materials.
Returning students will be given access to complete this scholarship application on their MedStar web page during the first week of January, and it will be due the first week of March.
There are also a variety of external scholarships that are offered by the Federal Government that apply specifically to medical students. Students are NOT required to complete the College of Medicine Scholarship application for these programs:
