Raegan: Hi, I'm Raegan. I just finished my first year in the medical scientist training program at The Ohio State University. When I was a kid, I told my grandma that I wanted to cure cancer and that was a lofty goal, but here I am and I'm going to do my best. I chose the MSTP because to me, medicine without science and curiosity and innovation seems incomplete. I want to be able to know why a disease progresses the way it does and what I can do about it. This first year of medical school has been huge for me. I got married, I bought a house, and I met some of the greatest friends that I've ever met in my life. And so I'd say that this has been a great year and I'm so glad that I spent it at Ohio State.
