Center for Integrative Health [Text on screen: the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Center for Integrative Health] [Music playing] [Text on screen: Maryanna Klatt, PhD Director Center for Integrative Health] Maryanna Klatt, PhD: As director of the Ohio State Center for Integrative Health, I'm proud to lead our tripartite mission of education, research, and clinical care. A highlight of our educational programming is our one-year fellowship for physician and advanced practice providers through the American Board of Physician Fellowships. Due though to the amount of expressed interest from practicing healthcare providers here, we have plans to add a faculty fellowship. We're very excited about this expansion. [Text on screen: Medical Students - Two Week Rotations Through Our Clinic - Year-long Advanced Competency - Integrative Health - Culinary Medicine] Dr. Klatt: For medical students, we offer two-week rotations through our clinic, a year-long advanced competency in both integrative health and in culinary medicine, and we host a variety of rotations for physician residents and advanced practice providers from specialties across the health system. [Text on screen: Undergraduate Students - Integrative Approaches to Health and Wellness Minor - Available Through the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences - 10 Undergraduate Research Assistants in Mindfulness Research Lab] Dr. Klatt: For undergraduate students, we offer an integrative approaches to health and wellness minor that's available through the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. I also host 10 undergraduate research assistants per year in my mindfulness research lab. Our research portfolio over the last 20 years has largely included over 1,500 health system employees. Through our mindfulness in motion program, we have achieved more than 30% reduction in burnout, significant reductions in stress, and highly significant increases in resilience and work engagement. The return on investment for health systems is a wonderful thing. Our center has pioneered patient-facing research such as cancer survivorship of patients dealing with side effects from cancer treatment such as fatigue. Our educational and research programs are foundational to the Center for Integrative Health and are poised to thrive thanks to a generous philanthropic investment from families that believe in the future of integrative health. I couldn't be more excited about what is to come for our education and research initiatives.
