I wanted to keep myself tethered in the why I got into medicine and that’s for the patients.  
Zachary Smith (medical student): They say that you learn by doing and I think that’s absolutely true.  Having to apply what you’ve been learning, in your classes, to the person sitting in front of you.  There’s nothing more important in my mind for learning the material.

Our training programs feature state of the art technology, including 18,000 square foot clinical skills education and assessment center.  Here, students practice procedures using the most advanced simulation technology available. Incredibly life-like medical mannequins simulate real-life situations in rooms that can be arranged to resemble, with remarkable detail, emergency room trauma bays, operating rooms, or intensive care units.  
Zachary Smith (medical student): We have such amazing facilities here that you can do research in almost anything you like, odds are that the person that you will be researching with is world renowned and so having that combination is incredible, really helps drive home the points and create lifelong passion for whatever domain you feel is most important.
