[Music playing] Carol R. Bradford, MD: We are finally celebrating the completion of all 225,000 square feet of this state-of-the-art interdisciplinary facility. This project is so much more than an upgrade. It's truly the future of medical and health profession education. [Text on screen: Carol R. Bradford, MD Dean, College of Medicine] Fantastic new partnerships are already forming between our students in medicine, dentistry, optometry, nursing, pharmacy, public health, and veterinary medicine. We are also so very blessed to be just a few steps away from some of the best hospitals and clinics in the nation and in the world. That means our learners can collaborate in a variety of settings with our amazing researchers and clinicians. John J. Warner, MD: This is the most collaborative place that I've been a part of. [Text on screen: John J. Warner, MD CEO, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Executive Vice President at Ohio State] And the way that people work together, learn together is truly an inspirational piece of the work that we do, but also I think a model for the nation. Interdisciplinary training and learning is really the way that the very best colleges are going to be distinguished over the future because we're in a new era of team science, and team learning, and in team research. [Text on screen: Daniel Clinchot, MD Vice Dean for Education, College of Medicine] Daniel Clinchot, MD: What has been provided in the three phases of this project? Phase one being the wonderful new anatomy space, which is state-of-the-art, but not only state-of-the-art from a technological standpoint for our learners, but also for our instructors who instruct in that space. Phase two resulted in wonderful new classroom investment for our health science students in the health science district. And then phase three, where we not only provide continued instructional space, faculty and staff space, but also amazing space for our students, not only in formal and informal study, but also for wellness. Our students deserve this. John J. Warner, MD: It does signify what we value at Ohio State, which is working together to create something truly special and ultimately translating the educational experiences, the research that will occur in this building into better care for patients and their families, and improving the quality and service of the work that we do. Carol R. Bradford, MD: One, two, three. [Text on screen: The Ohio State University College of Medicine For more information, visit: medicine.osu.edu] [Music fades]
