Benjamin Poulose, MD, MPH: Welcome to the Division of General and GI Surgery. Our vision here at the division is simply to deliver excellence. Our main areas of focus include surgical weight loss, foregut diseases, abdominal core health, and surgical endoscopy. We strive to be the best with our clinical programs, educational offerings, and investigative efforts.

Our surgical weight loss program is one of the best in the nation with internationally renowned surgeons. We are also proud to announce two ambitious initiatives with the creation of our comprehensive esophageal health center and the world's first center for abdominal core health. Together, we hope to make a difference in patients' lives and have a positive impact delivering high quality care.
