Yuiwatt Vorakunthda, MD: So, hello everyone, welcome to the Sleep Medicine Fellowship program at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. I'm one of the recently graduated Sleep fellows, and it's my great pleasure here to provide my candid experience and feedback of the fellowship training program itself. This is actually the first time that we are doing this virtually, because of the COVID-19 situation. [Video on Screen: Speaker is sitting in a white room wearing a blue and white plaid shirt and glasses] So the main reasons why I chose to come to the Ohio State for my sleep medicine training was because of the collegial environment that I could sense and feel during my interview process. And having recently completed the training, I can truly say that I have not regretted my decision. I am able to learn the knowledge and skills of sleep medicine in a non-threatening environment with full support from all the ancillary staff, whether it's a sleep technician, the nursing staff, the program coordinator, as well as all of the Sleep Medicine faculty at OSU. I strongly feel that I do belong to a very close-knitted family, and the faculty does take the fellows' learning very seriously. This would definitely be a fellow-centric program where the fellows has a say in the direction of their training, and I would not hesitate to select this program again if given another choice. So with that, Columbus is a medium-sized city with activity for everyone. Whether you are single, married, or married with children, there's just simply many activities for everyone there, various parks where you can go for a walk, run, or cycle. There are great restaurants in downtown areas, as well as many art scenes and theater where you can go. So with that, I wish you all the best and good luck in your search for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship program of your choice.
