Speaker Aneesa Das, MD: My name is Aneesa Das, and I am an associate professor of internal medicine at The Ohio State University. My background training is in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, and I serve as one of the key faculty for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program here at OSU. My clinical interests include treating patients going through the bariatric surgical weight loss program and ensuring their sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea and obesity hypoventilation, are adequately managed throughout this weight loss process. From an academic standpoint, I'm really interested in medical education. I am very active in the programming and curriculum development through the American Academy of Chest Physicians for their annual meeting. I am the current chair of the National Board review course that they hold for sleep medicine and actively teach both at the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and CHEST national meetings. I am so excited for you to possibly come to our program so that we all can share with you what we know. Welcome to OSU.
