My favorite thing about our program is definitely my co-residents. My class of third-years gets along super well. We have a great mix of people who are single, people who are married, people who have kids, and we all really support together are a great team together. This year, we all kind of moved to our clinic location, and we all get to work with each other day-to-day. And I couldn't be happier to see a bunch of my co-residents. The other thing I wanna talk to you about is that I've just transitioned to third-year. Like most programs, our third year is primarily outpatient, and it's been a really smooth transition. We were lucky enough to have the class above us sit down and tell us about the patients we'd be taking over. I feel like it's been super smooth to me. We have started with telepsych due to the current pandemic, but even that hasn't been too much of an issue. We have great support from our faculty who are helping us with outpatient. I've asked lots of questions, and I always feel like someone's there to kind of help me out. The last thing I wanna talk to you about is how my first two years at OSU were, so primarily, our first two years are in the inpatient unit. I had a great time with the inpatient units. I really liked working with all the nurses. I liked the team aspect of sitting down with nursing, social work, even sometimes recreational therapists in the morning, and working with them to come up with the best treatment plan for our patients. I think the other thing I really liked about the inpatient unit is how closely we work with our attendings. You'll work with them the whole four weeks you're on that rotation, typically. And because of that, by the end of first-year, I knew if I ever needed a letter of recommendation, I had several people I could ask for. That's kind of what I've liked about the first two years. I'm really excited for third year, and I hope you'll consider looking at our program.
