Dr. Manuel Sanguily has been swimming competitively since 1978 and is now competing in the Masters group, ages 80-84. After a 2 year absence due to a ruptured quadriceps tendon, he started swimming again. In June he competed at the 4th Pan American games in Sarasota, Florida. 29 countries were represented by 1800 competitors. Dr. Sanguily won one gold medal and two silver medals swimming the breaststroke.
