Vytautas Victor Urba, MD ('61 Res Grad) 

 

Vytautas Victor Urba, M.D. passed away September 3, 2013 after a short illness. He left his grieving wife, Aldona Olimpia; two sons: Vytas J. (Violetta) and Aras J. (Sandra); two sisters; and many relatives in Lithuania. One sister is a physician herself in Kaunas, Lithuania. Vytautas was born in Lithuania. He received his medical degree at the Maximillian University in Munich, Germany with honors, and did residency in psychiatry at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. He was associated with the Hammond Clinic and was chairman of Psychiatric Dept. He was also Chairman of Psychiatry at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Dyer (now Franciscan St. Margaret Health Dyer Campus). Funeral services will be held at the Blessed Matulaitis Mission at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont, IL on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Burial at Lithuanian National Cemetery in Justice, IL.
