’66 Anthony M Parillo, MD (1941-2013) 

 

Dr. Parillo.jpgAnthony M. Parillo, of Grand Blanc, age 72, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Anthony was born in Youngstown, Ohio on October 6, 1940, son of the late Anthony M. and Julia P. (Malie) Parillo. Dr. Parillo received Under Graduate and his Medical Doctorate from The Ohio State University. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Dr. Parillo attended St. Pius X Catholic Church in Flint and attended St. Vincent DePaul in Fort Myers, Florida. He was a man of Faith. Dr. Parillo was a member of the Flint Golf Club; the Verandah Golf Club and the Caloosa Birding Club in Florida. He was an avid golfer; enjoyed reading, birding, movies; loved animals, wildlife, the arts and Ohio State Football (Go Bucks!) Dr. Parillo was a Radiologist at Genesys and St. Joseph Hospital, where he practiced for 35 years. Surviving are sons, Anthony Jr. (Stacy), Mark and Michael (Tammy); grandsons, Ben, Sam, Jake, Joey, Noah, Drew and Jack; special friend, Cindy Robson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Pat, John and Vince. Special thanks to the staff at Genesys and longtime partners and friends, Dr. Byung Chang and Dr. Robert Yochim.
