Stewart McClellan Rose, MD, died August 7, 2014. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on September 21, 1930, the son of Margaret Green Rose and William Horace Rose. Dr. Rose graduated from University High School and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and Phi Chi Medical Fraternity; President of the Staff of OhioHealth Riverside and President of the Central Ohio Heart Association. He is survived by his wife, Ellen, of 61 years; two daughters, Elizabeth Rose (Richard) McPeak, and Katherine Kissane Rose. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jennifer McPeak (Mark) Louthan and Andrew Stewart (Angela) McPeak; three great-grandchildren, Aidan Louthan, Ava Rose Louthan and Claire Rose McPeak; two step-grandchildren, Derek (Sarah) McPeak, James (Jill) McPeak; five step great-children, Kelly McPeak, Joel McPeak, Aaron McPeak, Sam McPeak and Caleb McPeak; sister, Mary Rose Webster of Binghampton, New York; and two nephews, William Webster and Charles Webster.
