Dr. Thomas Franklin, M.D., has spent the last 35 years “fixing things” in his Bellefontaine orthopedic practice.
Dr. Franklin is retiring today and he knows he will miss the patients who have let him become part of their lives and his Orthopaedic Associates of Bellefontaine colleagues who are like a second family.
The Columbus native was introduced to orthopedics after high school. His interest in medicine opened the door to a summer job at The Ohio State University Medical Center, now known as the OSU Wexner Medical Center.
“The human body is so miraculous in its ability to heal,” he said. “It’s pretty amazing what we can do to ourselves and get away with.
