The College of Medicine Alumni Affairs office helps medical students and alumni create fulfilling professional and personal relationships through several outreach initiatives with varying degrees of involvement. Students have the opportunity to speak with medical professionals who have traveled similar paths and can give career advice among other valuable tips.
Participating in the Medical Leadership Council ensures that alumni, donors and friends meet the best and brightest physicians of tomorrow during visits to campus. Medical students can network with our diverse alumni population and hear about different life experiences.
The Help Our Students Travel (HOST) Program provides fourth-year students the chance to bond with Ohio State physicians throughout the country. As students progress through the residency interview process, they will have an outlet to get to know an alumnus on a personal level and see the benefits of a career in medicine.
