OSU Environmental Health & Safety

EHS Online offers training for chemical security, environmental affairs, occupational health and safety, radiation safety, and research and bio safety. Click here for the user's guide.

BuckeyeLearn

BuckeyeLearn is the application through which mandatory annual training for HIPPAA, Fire Safety, Institutional Data Training, etc. must be completed by December 31st of each year.

Carmen

Carmen is an online training system that offers a variety of courses, training, and certifications.

UPS Shipping

OSU has a contract with UPS to provide discounted shipping. All employees who will be shipping items must take https://it.osu.edu/assist/shipping/ups to have access to print the UPS Shipping Label to attach to the mailer or box. There are UPS drop-off sites all over campus. The closest drop-off site to Hamilton Hall are in front of Oxley Hall at 1712 Neil Avenue and 12th Avenue and at the north entrance of Meiling Hall along 10th Avenue. Items in drop boxes are picked up nightly at 5:30 P.M.

University Laboratory Animal Resources

As mandated by the Animal Welfare Act, it is the responsibility of the research institution to ensure that all individuals using animals in research or teaching must be qualified and appropriately trained. As such, The Ohio State University IACUC required that all personnel involved with animals complete mandatory courses/registries. Training for investigators and research staff can be found at http://ular.osu.edu/training/.

Gas Cylinder Warehouse

The Gas Cylinder Warehouse supplies The Ohio State University with cylinder gases, liquid nitrogen and accessories. eStores is the preferred method for placing orders. Items stocked on campus by Stores are searchable under the OSU Stores catalog.
