A tornado warning is identified by the sounding of the outdoor emergency sirens, a weather alert broadcast by the National Weather Service, notification by local media, or a BuckeyeAlert.  If notified, the Administration Office will make an announcement by phone to the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Once notified of a tornado warning, occupants should take cover to the lowest floor.  Severe weather shelter areas include interior stairwells, enclosed corridors and the first floor.

Break Areas and Beverages

Break areas are provided in Lincoln Tower and Ackerman.  Coffee and tea are provided by the department.  A toster, microwave and refrigerator/freezer are also provided for use. Each individual who uses these spaces is expected to wash their own dishes. Lincoln Tower residents should put their dirty dishes in the dishwasher marked dirty and retrieve their dishes from the dishwasher when it is marked clean.

Users are asked to clean up spills promptly in and around our appliances.  Additionally, food in the refrigerators should be clearly labeled with your name.  Refrigerators are cleaned monthly. There is no space available for personal storage of containers, dishes, etc.
