Po-Yin Yen, RN, PhD was recently named an Emerging Leader by the Alliance for Nursing Informatics (ANI) Steering Committee. This exclusive two-year program is designed to develp nursing informatics professionals capable of assuming national leadership positions in informatics-related organizations. The program provides emerging leaders with invaluable mentorhsip and opportunites to attend educational industry meetings and events. Additionally, Dr. Yen will be assigned an accomplished, former ANI emerging leader as her mentor to help guide her during this two year period.
To succeed in the program, emerging leaders are required to 1) complete a nursing informatics project, 2) attend meetings/calls of the ANI governing Directors, 3) participate in the HiMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition and 4) particiate in the AMIA Annual Symposium. Please help us in congratulating Dr. Yen on this very exciting and important recognition from the ANI community.
