Jianying Zhang, PhD, is currently a research assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University. Dr. Zhang earned her doctoral degrees in Statistics at Purdue University in 2008, where her research focused on data visualization and multivariate model development for sensor-based temporal data. She joined the Center for Biostatistics at OSU in 2009 and the Department of Biomedical Informatics in 2014.
Dr. Zhang’s expertise or research interest focuses on high-dimensional data visualization, biomarker predictive model development and variance smoothing in omics data analysis. She has extensive collaborations with biomedical investigators from the Wexner Medical Center and has been the co-I on multiple collaborative NIH grant awards.
