David Kline, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Center for Biostatistics.  His research is primarily focused on modeling clinical and observational data with particular expertise in methods for correlated data.  He is currently working on methodology related to joint modeling and multivariate spatio-temporal disease mapping.  Dr. Kline also has an active collaborative research portfolio including work in neuroscience, pediatrics, and diabetes.

Previously, Dr. Kline was a Research Scientist in the department and the Center for Biostatistics from 2015-2018.  He earned his PhD in biostatistics from The Ohio State University in 2015 and also holds and MS in statistics from Ohio State and a BA in mathematics from Messiah College.
