About Me

As a physician assistant in the Hand & Upper Extremity Center at Ohio State, I work with patients throughout all phases of their care. I manage patients with disorders of the upper limb, ranging from fractures to major trauma, as well as other conditions including carpal tunnel and trigger finger. I see patients in the office setting, as well as assist in the operating room when surgery is required. There, I participate in many aspects of the patient’s care, including coordinating discharge instructions, assisting the surgeon with the operation, closing wounds and applying dressings.

When working with patients, I think it’s important to put myself in their shoes and think about things from their perspective. I believe that the little details matter, which we can sometimes forget if we get busy or overwhelmed. If I can make an adjustment to help save someone time or make something easier for a patient to understand, I think it makes a big difference. And I love making a difference in my patients’ health care experience.

I enjoy being a part of a great hospital system like Ohio State, where I have the opportunity to work with residents and fellows.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my free time running, playing euchre and singing in both a choir and a band.
