Amanda Edwards PT, DPT, OCS
Amanda is originally from Port Jefferson, NY where she began developing her interest in dance and physical therapy. She attended James Madison University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She was awarded a Graduate Assistant position of Fitness and Nutrition through James Madison University’s recreation center, which she completed while studying for her Master of Science in Kinesiology. She then graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 2014. Since graduating with her DPT, she has worked at BSR Physical Therapy in Manahawkin, New Jersey and became board certified in orthopedics following her studies through Temple University orthopedic residency program. Her personal interest in ballet has expanded to her clinical interest in treatment of the dancer population. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys hiking, exercising, going to the beach, cooking vegan food, and spending all her time with her husband, 2 year-old daughter, and dog.
