Thank you for your interest in the Biomedical Science undergraduate major at The Ohio State University! We encourage all students interested in applying to the major to visit campus and attend a Biomedical Science overview session so they can gain a better understanding of the major and how it may fit with their academic and career goals.

On Saturday, September 14 and 28, 2019, Undergraduate Admissions is hosting Buckeye Preview. This daylong event is for current high school seniors with a 28+ ACT or 1320+ SAT who are interested in applying for autumn 2020 freshman admission. At this event, you will do the following:

  • Learn about the freshman admission process to Ohio State.
  • Participate in an academic overview session in your college of interest and hear from the experts about academic programs and enrichment opportunities like research, study abroad, internships, etc.
  • Learn about the breadth of academic and co-curricular opportunities offered at Ohio State.
  • Take a walking tour of campus and hear first-hand about the student experience from the student ambassadors.

  • Registration: To inquire about registering for Buckeye Preview, please contact Undergraduate Admissions at Please note this event is open to current high school seniors only; other students are not eligible to attend.
  • Biomedical Science Session: In the list of academic sessions in the 11:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. timeslot, Biomedical Science is a choice. When registering for the event, select Biomedical Science for your academic session.
