Courage to Teach peer review process

Courage To Teach faculty (peers) sit in on lectures, attend teaching rounds or shadow other clinical teaching activities to provide feedback to teaching faculty through this program. If possible, Courage to Teach Peer Reviewers from a faculty member's own department can serve as a peer reviewer.

This process is a review of content, teaching delivery, and the stimulation of learning using one of the FAME/Courage to Teach structured observation forms that cover common criteria for "good" lecturing or clinical teaching (see large classroom/small group teaching, and/or clinical teaching/Stanford forms below).

We offer a list of trained Courage to Teach FAME peer reviewers. If you have a particular reviewer in mind, please communicate this to Bev Trout at if no special request you will be assigned a Courage to Teach FAME peer reviewer.
