Experience and Interests

After completing his residency training, Chris took a position with The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy where he practiced at two federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in the Columbus area providing care to the underserved with a focus on chronic disease state education and management, as well as a focus on helping patients overcome medication access barriers. Over time, he also transitioned to one of his current practices at Total Health and Wellness through the OSU College of Nursing.

Chris has served as a preceptor for more than 100 third and fourth year pharmacy students, as well as providing education to students from many other disciplines during his time with the College of Pharmacy. He is very passionate about providing team-based interdisciplinary care to patients and education to students and has brought this passion with him to the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Outside of his primary role as a pharmacist, Chris is also passionate about the promotion of health and wellness and serves as a Buckeye Wellness Innovator for Ohio State. His special interests include diabetes and cardiovascular risk reduction.
