Experience and Interests
In December 2018 Kate earned her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Kentucky. The main focus of her research is on identifying factors influencing post-operative outcomes in patients with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome, with the overall goal of helping orthopaedic rehabilitation shift toward a biopsychosocial model. Prior to getting her Ph.D. Kate worked for three years as a licensed athletic trainer at Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine in Green Bay, WI.
