Background

Dr. Hade is currently a research assistant professor and program leader of the Population Studies unit in the Department of Biomedical Informatics’ Center for Biostatistics. She has been a part of the Center for Biostatistics since 2002, and received her PhD from the College of Public Health in 2012. Previous to joining OSU, Dr. Hade received a Master of Science in Biostatistics in 2001 from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.

Dr. Hade has worked extensively with investigators in the Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and with the regional coordinating center of the Women’s Health Initiative. Her methodological interests have been focused on clinical trial and observational study design and inference through work in causal inference methods and adaptive clinical trial design.
