Dr. Rajendar Deora is joining the faculty in August, 2017, as an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity. He is relocating to OSU from Wake Forest School of Medicine. He received a M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Calcutta, and graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1997 with a PhD in Microbiology. His areas of interest are: molecular determinants of pathogenesis and biofilm development, regulation of gene expresssion, host pathogen interactions, vaccine development, and innate and adaptive immunity.
