The Ohio State University College of Medicine’s Center for Faculty Advancement, Mentoring and Engagement (FAME) is accepting nominations for two new faculty awards, the College of Medicine Distinguished Professor Award and the College of Medicine Education, Scholarship and Clinical Care Award.
The College of Medicine Distinguished Professor Award honors up to three regular faculty members who have exceptional records of accomplishment appropriate to their track. Awardees will be honored with the permanent title of College of Medicine Distinguished Professor and a $1000 honorarium. Nominations may be made by department chairs and center and institute directors.
The College of Medicine Education, Scholarship and Clinical Care Award recognizes three faculty members who demonstrate excellence in leadership and innovation in one of the three mission areas of the college. Awardees will be recognized with a $500 honorarium. Faculty who are interested in being nominated for this award should submit materials that demonstrate leadership and innovation in education, scholarship/research, or clinical care to their department chair. The chair may submit one nomination to the College.
