The Ohio State University and São Paulo Research Foundation will inaugurate the opening of a Brazilian Nature exhibit, which recognizes the biodiversity of Brazil, at The Ohio Union, 1739 North High Street. On February 27 from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. in the West Ballroom, faculty from The Ohio State University and College of Medicine including Dr. Daniel Janies, associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics, will present during the conference. The seminar, which was co-organized with the Brazil Institute of the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars, will cover topics such as biomedicine, biodiversity, bioenergy and educational partnerships with a focus on research collaboration between the United States and Brazil. The exhibition, which will feature botanical drawings, will be on display until March 30. The event will be streamed live and can be viewed here.
