College Ranked Among Nation's Top 40 

 

The 2013 U.S.News & World Report rankings for colleges were published this week and the health sciences disciplines in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (formerly the School of Allied Medical Professions) continue their upward trend. Both the Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy programs are nationally ranked in the top 20: 15th and 19th, respectively.

Among public universities, The Ohio State University’s College of Medicine ranked 14th in the country. Overall, the College of Medicine remains ranked as one of the top-40 medical schools in the nation.

There was a slight increase in Ohio State’s reputation score, which accounts for 40 percent of the overall ranking. This reputation is due, in part, to College faculty holding national leadership positions, publishing in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and presenting at major academic conferences. Our faculty is also spreading the news about the advancements we are making in research, education and patient care at Ohio State.​
