CCTS Receives Award for Most ResearchMatch Participants

MatchMaestro arrives at OSU.JPGThe MatchMaestro has been awarded to Ohio State's Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) for the first quarter of 2012.  The MatchMaestro is awarded quarterly to the Clinical and Translational Science Award institution that has enrolled the most participants in research studies at their institution via matches made through ResearchMatch.org, the NIH-sponsored volunteer registry that helps match researchers and volunteers.

Register as A Research Study Volunteer

Like the Stanley Cup, there is only one MatchMaestro; it will be ours until another institution exceeds our participation numbers below. Help keep the MatchMaestro at Ohio State. Register as a research volunteer on ResearchMatch.org.

As of April 30:

- Ohio State leads the nation in the number of participants enrolled in studies through ResearchMatch (2,228).
- We lead the nation in the number of researchers who are using the system (133).
- The State of Ohio leads the nation in the number of volunteers registered (3,403).
- Within 50 miles of Ohio State, there are 2,296 registered volunteers, which is more than 10 percent of the national registry.

Researchers Encouraged to Register

Help us increase these numbers. If you are a researcher and aren’t yet registered as researcher on ResearchMatch, contact Rose Hallarn at Rose.Hallern@osumc.edu for information about feasibility or recruitment access.
