The Ohio State University is seeking a dynamic leader who will transform collaborative interprofessional education and training on our campus. Building upon our established interprofessional collaboration and working across health-related colleges, the Director of Health Sciences Interprofessional Practice and Education will have the primary duty to lead the development and implementation of the previously established interprofessional (Buck-IPE) curriculum. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be doctorally prepared and have qualifications commensurate with a faculty appointment in one of the health-sciences colleges. Reporting to the Health Sciences deans, the Director of Health Sciences Interprofessional Practice and Education will provide leadership in interprofessional curricular initiatives for the seven health-sciences colleges; spearhead the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Buck-IPE curriculum; innovate the future of team-based IPE for the health professions to prepare the current and emerging workforce; conduct research on IPE in collaboration with health-sciences faculty; spearhead grant applications on IPE in collaboration with health-sciences faculty; publish findings from research; and innovative IPE models implemented at Ohio State.
