PGCH pledges $3M to fund endowed chair in developmental biology and regenerative medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles  

 

The San Marino Tribune reported that the Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles pledged a $3 million endowment to fund the Pasadena Guild Chair in Developmental Biology and Regenerative Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The inaugural holder of the endowed chair is David Warburton, OBE, DSc, MD, MMM, FRCP, FRCS, FRCPC, who has led The Saban Research Institute’s Developmental Biology and Regenerative Medicine Program since its inception in 1996. Dr. Warburton served as Co-chair of the 2011 World Stem Cell Summit in Pasadena, California.
