Critical evaluation of science behind wound healing and limb salvage in the wound care setting specifically as it applies to the diabetic population and in limb salvage.  Develop and apply up to date tissue engineering and new biomaterial concepts to accelerate wound healing in the clinic setting.

Wound healing in the face of complex/critical limb scenarios including Charcot neuroarthropathy and immunocompromised patients.
