Responsible Conduct of Research Training

Training in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) is required by both the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation. NIH requires that all trainees, fellows and scholars receiving support via NIH training, career development, research education and dissertation research grants (most notably the "F", "T", and "K" series programs) must receive RCR instruction. The instructional plan must be described in proposals for such awards, and participation in RCR training must be described in progress reports.

Contact comor@osumc.edu, at Ohio State’s College of Medicine Office of Research for assistance with the RCR training section of NIH proposals.
