Beginning May 25, 2012, the Division of Receipt and Referral (DRR) will communicate to applicants using the eRA Commons. An email will be sent to notify applicants that there is a message available in the Commons related to an application. DRR notifies applicants when
- additional information is needed to assign the application for review
- the applicant's request for an IC assignment cannot be honored
- NIH has determined that the application does not comply with its policy.
