All applications are available online. Applicants are required to formally re-apply in future years if denied admission.​

All application materials, including Letters of Recommendation and transcripts must be received by the posted deadlines. We encourage you to submit your portion of the application early to give recommenders time to submit their letters, and transcripts and scores time to be sent and processed. 

General Application Deadline: December 31st: To be considered for an interview, prospective students must meet all admissions requirements and submit all required application components by the December 31st deadline. Applicant selection for the interview process will begin in January.

Fellowship Application Deadline: December 1st: Students who are interested in the Fellowship nomination should have all application materials submitted by the December 3rd deadline. For more information regarding Fellowships, please refer to the Graduate School​.

Please note there is a non-refundable application fee of $60 or $70 for International applicants. The fee is paid by credit card or e-check at the time an applicant submits the online application.

All incoming transcripts should be sent via one of the following ways:

Electronic Transmittal: Students can request that their transcript be delivered to request that their transcript be delivered to gpadocs@osu.edu (for graduate/professional students).

US Mail: Transcripts should not be issued to student or addressed to a different Ohio State address.Transcripts received through other avenues at The Ohio State University will be deemed unofficial and transfer credit will not be evaluated.
